LUNDON (Limerick, E.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether, in view of the passing of Act 1, Edward VII., ch. 17, in regard to the maintenance of criminal lunatics confined in Irish district lunatic asylums, he will recommend the Government to make a refund from the Treasury of the expenditure incurred since the passing of the English Act, 47 and 48 Vic, ch. 64, which provides for payment for this class of inmates in English asylums from Imperial sources; or whether he will recommend any Amendment to the Act of last year which will tend in that direction.
