§ MR. C. P. SCOTTI beg to ask the Secretary of State for War, whether he can state how soon he will be able to give the Return of Extracts of Proceedings of Military Courts held under Martial Law, which is to be laid upon the Table of the House; and whether this Return will include all cases during the period which it covers in which death sentences have been passed, and the names and rank of the officers who formed the Courts.
§ MR. BRODRICKI am still awaiting certain Returns from South Africa, and 984 I cannot therefore state when the general Return will be ready. The death sentences will be included. The names of the members of the Courts in these cases will also be published.
