SWIFT MACNEILLI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, whether he is aware that the Commissioners of National Education in Ireland have refused to allow an evening class for the study of the Irish language to be held in the Ann Street Schools, Newtownards, Co. Down; and will he state on what grounds has this refusal been based.
