§ DR. MACNAMARA (Camberwell, N.)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board, whether he can now say when he will ask the House to appoint the Select Committee to consider certain matters in connection with the Housing of the Working Classes.
§ MR. WALTER LONGI cannot at present state when I shall be in a position to move for the appointment of the Select Committee to inquire into the period for the repayment of loans raised by Local Authorities, but due notice will be given of the Motion. I do not propose that the Committee should be asked to inquire into other matters in connection with the Housing of the Working Classes.
