HC Deb 06 February 1902 vol 102 c532
MR. WYLIE (Dumbartonshire)

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate, seeing that the Police Superannuation (Scotland) Bill, introduced by the Member for the Falkirk Burghs last year, was almost unanmously supported by the Scottish Members, whether the Government intend to bring in a Bill dealing with this subject during the present session.

THE LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. A. GRAHAM MURRAY,) Buteshire

As the hon. Member is aware, the Police Superannuation Bill to which he refers was considered by a Select Committee of the House last session. Having regard to the terms of their Report, the Secretary for Scotland is not at present prepared to bring in a Bill dealing with the matter.
