FARQUHARSON (Aberdeenshire, W.)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War, whether he can state what arrangements have been made for carrying on the increasing work of the Judge Advocate General's Department whilst Sir Francis Jeune is engaged as President of the Commission to which he has been appointed by the Board of Trade.
LORD STANLEYThe work of the Judge Advocate General will not in any way be interfered with by his occupation in connection with the Presidency of the Committee referred to.
DR. FARQHARSONI beg to give notice that at the earliest possible opportunity I will draw the attention of the House to the administration of military law, and move: "That in the opinion of this House the office of Judge Advocate General should be restored."
