§ MR. M'GOVERNI beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as represent- 199 ing the Postmaster General, whether he can state what steps, if any, have been taken to secure a proper site for the new post office which is to be built in Belturbet, and when building operations are expected to commence.
§ MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAINA good site in The Diamond at Belturbet has been offered, and it is now under consideration whether the site can be acquired and a suitable building erected on it within the limits of expense which the amount of the post office business in the town would justify. The matter will go forward without delay, but it is impossible at present to state when building operations are likely to be commenced.
