MR. JOYCE () Limerick

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether his attention has been called to the; contractors to whom the Limerick County Council have given the contract for their printing; and whether steps will be taken to secure that the provisions of the Fair Wages Resolution of this House are given effect to in the carrying out of the contract.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) The County Council accepted the tenders of Mr. Quinnell, of Tralee, for the printing contracts. The Local Government Board has no power to take the steps suggested in the latter part of the Question.
