HC Deb 15 December 1902 vol 116 c1200
MR. HARMSWORTH(Caithness-shire)

To ask the Lord Advocate, as representing the Secretary for Scotland, to state if he has received an application to extend the Wick School Board district to the area which has been added to the burgh by the recent Provisional Order; and, if so, whether he has arrived at a decision in the matter yet.

(Answered by Mr. A. Graham Murray.) Such an extension of the Wick School Board district as is contemplated in the hon. Member's Question might be made by the Scotch Education Department under the Education Act of 1878, or by the Secretary for Scotland under the Local Government Acts. No application for such extension has been made to either Department.
