HC Deb 11 December 1902 vol 116 cc909-10
MR. MACVEAGH

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will explain why the opinion of the local justices of the peace as to the necessity for re-establishing the police barracks at Scarva, County Down, has been disregarded; and whether it is proposed to make further inquiry into the matter.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) Careful consideration was given to the views of the local justices. In the circumstances, it is not proposed to make further inquiry in the matter.
