§ Mr. TULLYI beg to ask the Postmaster General whether he can state what period has elapsed since the last examinations were held in Dublin for Women Clerkships in the General Post Office; when it is proposed to hold a further examination; and what notice will be given to the candidates who are now preparing for it.
§ Mr. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAINThe last examination held at Dublin for the situation of women clerks in the General Post Office took place in October, 1901. It cannot at present be stated when it will be necessary to hold another examination, but due notice thereof will be given by the Civil Service Commissioners.
