§ MR. KEMPI beg to ask the Secretary of State for War how many of the 1902 Imperial Yeomanry are still in South Africa; and if he can say on what date these regiments will be finally disbanded.
LORD STANLEYThere are at present about 1,500 Imperial Yeomen in South Africa. They will be discharged on completing a year's service from date of enlistment, unless they elect to take their discharges earlier, which they are absolutely free to do.
