§ SIR WILLIAM ALLANI beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether he is aware that in some of His Majesty's ships where engineer artificers are appointed in lieu of assistant engineers, the captains refuse to give to the artificers the cabin accommodation assigned to assistant engineers; and will he say what steps he proposes to take in the matter.
