HC Deb 04 December 1902 vol 115 c1329
MR. TULLY (Leitrim, S.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he has received from Rural Councils resolutions complaining of the complications in the working of the Labourers' (Ireland) Acts; and whether he intends to introduce legislation to promote their simplification.

MR. WYNDHAM

no recent representations have been received. The extent to which the Government was prepared to go in this Session is indicated in the Amendments which I have put down to the Bill of the hon. Member for South Louth. I cannot give any under-taking in respect to next year beyond a promise of careful consideration in connection with the Land Bill I intend to introduce.
