I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, whether he can state the number of second term rents fixed in the several Provinces of Ireland between the 31st March and the 31st October last, and the average reductions on the amount of the rent fixed for the first time.

The number fixed by the Land Commission in Ulster, Leinster, Connaught, and Munster, respectively, was 1,913,557, 609, and 620; the percentages of reductions were 23.1, 15.8, 20.8, and 17. In Civil Bill Courts, the number fixed by Provinces, in the same order, was 51, 17, 90, and 269; the percentages of reduction were 20.1, 17.4, 17.6, and 19.1.
