HC Deb 04 December 1902 vol 115 c1312
MR. REGINALD LUCAS (Portsmouth)

To ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will explain how the Internaitonal situation created by the circumstances set forth in the China (No. 3, 1902) Paper affects the position of this country in the Yangtsze Valley.

(Answered by Lord Cranborne.) The views of His Majesty's Government are set forth in the Papers contained in the Parliamentary Paper, and it does not seem possible to add anything in explanation of them by way of answer to a Quesiton.
