HC Deb 03 December 1902 vol 115 c1067
MR. WEIR

May I ask whether the Government intend to take any action with regard to the Report of the Select Committee on Private Bills?

THE PRIME MINISTER AND FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR,) Manchester, E.

I understood the Report was only circulated yesterday morning, and therefore it is quite impossible for the Government to give any opinion as to the course which they ought to take in consequence of the findings of the Committee.
