HC Deb 03 December 1902 vol 115 c1053
MAJOR EVANS-GORDON () Tower Hamlets, Stepney

To ask Mr. Attorney-General whether, in view of the nature of the transactions disclosed before the official receiver during the liquidation of the London and Globe Finance Corporation, he has come to a final decision as to the action to be taken in the matter; and, if not, whether he can state when such decision will be arrived at.

(Answered by Sir Robert Finlay.) This case was fully considered last summer, and I came to the conclusion that the case was not one which should be taken up by the Director of Public Prosecutions. Some further Papers have, I am informed, been transmitted to him within the last last few days, and they will be considered in due course.
