I beg to ask the Lord Advocate, in view of the fact that the Crofters' Commission in their Report on the social condition of the people of Lewis express the opinion that the landless cottars, or squatters, form a burden on almost every crofting township in the Island, will he say how he proposes to meet the difficulty.
