HC Deb 02 December 1902 vol 115 c925
MR. TULLY

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state what steps he has taken to promote a confrence between landlords and tenants in view of the promised Land Purchase Bill; and if he is in a position to give the names of business experts who would be acceptable to both parties.

MR. WYNDHAM

I can only refer the hon. Member to my public pronouncements on the Land Question. The reply to the second query is in the nagative. It would, I think, be inexpedient and, indeed, officious, on my part to suggest names.
