KIMBERI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will inform the House as to the latest communications which have passed between the Government of His Imperial Majesty the Czar and His Majesty's Ministers relative to Russia's desire to bring about close commercial relations with Afghanistan; and whether he has any information to show that the Russian Government have already entered into direct communication with the Amir on the subject.
