HC Deb 01 December 1902 vol 115 cc843-4
SIR GILBERT PARKER(Gravesend)

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury when he proposes to take the Second Reading of the Militia and Yeomanry Bill, and if he will ensure that a reasonable time be given for its discussion.

THE PRIME MINISTER AND FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR,) Manchester, E.

I am unable to fix a date for this Bill. I am not prepared to say what would be a "reasonable time" for its discussion; but I should be sorry if the House were not able to discuss it adequately
