HC Deb 06 August 1902 vol 112 c791
MR. JAMES O'CONNOR (Wicklow, W.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether Mr. W. J. O'Hara, until recently a district inspector stationed in the County Wicklow, has been appointed a resident magistrate for the County Fermanagh; whether, about a month ago, Mr. O'Hara was promoted to a county inspectorship in Armagh and will he say for how long he discharged his duty as county inspector in Armagh.

MR. WYNDHAM

Mr. O'Hara was placed in charge of Armagh as acting county inspector on 9th June, and on 7th July was appointed a resident magistrate.

MR. JAMES O'CONNOR

Is this man a brother of the bishop who libelled his Catholic fellow countrymen?

MR. WYNDHAM

I am not aware.

MR. JAMES O'CONNOR

I can tell the right hon. Gentleman he is.
