§ MR. J. P. FARRELL (Longford, N.)
I beg to ask the Secretary of State for 671 War will he explain why the pay of Private Bernard Durkan, of the 6th Battalion, Rifle Brigade, was refused, although he had served his training period at the Curragh; and will he direct that this man's arrears of pay be remitted to him.
Will the hon. Member kindly address any communication he may like to make on this matter to the general officer commanding the district.
§ MR. J. P. FARRELL
Can the noble Lord give me a guarantee that the general officer commanding the district will pay any attention to my request?
