§ MR. FLOWER (Bradford, W.)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board if he can state the number of children at present suffering from ophthalmia and ringworm respectively in Metropolitan Poor Law schools and institutions.
§ MR. WALTER LONGAccording to the latest information in my possession the number of children suffering from ophthalmia and ringworm, respectively, 39 was—413 and 325 in Metropolitan Poor Law schools, and 351 and 294 in Metropolitan workhouses and infirmaries.
