MR. PATRICK O'BRIEN (Kilkenny)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether he is aware that there is a vacancy for Postmaster in Killaloe, County Clare; whether any appointment has yet been made; and, if so, will he say who has been appointed; if not, whether he will see that the views of the people of Killaloe are considered and complied with when making the appointment.

Mr. James White was appointed to be Sub Post-master of Killaloe a fortnight ago.
