SWIFT MACNEILL (Donegal, S.)I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether it is intended, upon the termination of the war in South Africa, to detain in custody either British civilian subjects or aliens who may be imprisoned undergoing sentences imposed by military tribunals or courts martial; and, if so, by what authority can this course of policy be adopted.
