HAY (Shoreditch, Hoxton)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, if he will grant a Return of the number of hours extra duty performed by sorters in the East Central District Office between eight o'clock p.m. and midnight, for three months from the 15th January, 1902.
§ MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAINThe Postmaster General has ascertained that the number of hours of extra duty work as described was 6,348. There are about 600 sorters in the East Central District Office.
