HC Deb 22 April 1902 vol 106 c924
MR. WEIR (Ross and Cromarty)

On behalf of the hon. Member for Caithness, I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he can state whether there was any Law of the late Transvaal Republic by which Transvaal delegates to any peace conference were required to refer any proposed terms of peace to the commandoes in the field for their approval.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE COLONIES (Mr. J. CHAMBERLAIN,) Birmingham, W.

I am not aware of any legislation which deals with this particular point.
