I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he is aware that thousands of orders for Coronation flags have been placed in Germany; and whether he is prepared to put a heavy registration duty on these.

The hon. Member complained that certain words which he had put in the Question in order to make his meaning perfectly clear had been struck out at the Table. Might he ask if, in the judgment of Mr. Speaker, they should have been struck out? They were—
