§ THE UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Lord CRANBORNE,) RochesterThe total amount of money expended on the Uganda Railway up to the 31st 807 ultimo was £4,982,468 3s. 2d. of which £4,907,239 19s. 4d. was from the Imperial Grant, and the balance from receipts, from traffic accounts, and a few other small miscellaneous receipts.
