HC Deb 18 April 1902 vol 106 c658
MR. FIELD (Dublin, St. Patrick)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that the inspector's arrangement regarding the hours of officials in the Central Asylum, Dundrum, County Dublin, has not yet been carried out; and whether he can state when the hours will be shortened as agreed upon.

MR. WYNDHAM

The representations of the tradesmen attendants at this asylum were investigated last year, and it was decided that no change could be made in the conditions of their service. No undertaking to shorten the hours of service was given, as alleged. These officials have not been asked to perform any duties outside their agreements when they accepted their posts.
