§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF AGRICULTURE (Mr. HANBURY,) PrestonThe prices named in the Question are only a small part even of the general agricultural prices in Scotland dealt with by Lord Mansfield's Committee. We are at present considering a scheme for dealing with the prices of all leading agricultural products in the whole of Great Britain, and I could not oanticipate such a general treatment of the subject by dealing with so small a part of it as the hon. Member suggests.
