That they have passed a Bill, intituled, "An Act to authorise the London and South Western Railway Company to execute further works, to acquire additional lands, and to raise further money; to empower the Company and the Great Western Railway Company, or one of them, to acquire additional lands for enlarging Portland Station: to confirm a lease to the Company of the Padstow separate undertaking of the North Cornwall Railway Company, and an agreement made by the Company with the Vicar and Churchwardens of the parish of St. John, Waterloo Road; to extend the periods limited for the completion of works and the purchase of lands under certain Acts relating to the Company; and to confer further powers upon the Company; and for other purposes."
