§ Mr. SPEAKER acquainted the House that he had received the following letter relating to the imprisonment of Mr. Jasper Tully—

§ "I have the honour to inform you that I have this day sentenced Mr. Jasper Tully, a Member of the House of Commons, to imprisonment for fourteen days for having been a principal party in an unlawful assembly, and I have made him a first-class misdemeanant.
