HC Deb 07 April 1902 vol 105 c1243

Order for Second Reading read.

Motion made and Question proposed, "That the Bill be now read a second time."

MR. JOHN REDMOND (Waterford)

said he did not think it was fair to take any business at all tonight after the first two Orders. It was distinctly stated before the adjournment for the holidays that the business for tonight would be the Licensing Bill, and, if that was over in time, Supply.

MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAIN

Certainly, if the hon. Gentleman objects, I will not proceed with the Bill.

Debate adjourned till tomorrow.
