HC Deb 20 May 1901 vol 94 c610
MR. EDMUND ROBERTSON

I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he can now give the House any information as to the result of the recent inquiry into the naval works at Gibraltar.

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

I am not in a position to do that, but I can assure the hon. Gentleman that due notice will be given of any alteration of policy on the part of the Government.

MR. GIBSON BOWLES

Can the right hon. Gentleman give any indication as to when the House will have information?

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

I imagine that it will not be a very long time, but I cannot give my hon. friend the day or the hour.
