I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he can give the name of the village or farm referred to at page 10 [Cd. 524], belonging to General Christian De Wet, and the date and reasons for burning; and whether the owner of the house referred to at the bottom of page 10 as belonging to or close to General de Wet's house, and destroyed because the owner was on commando, is known; and, if so, what is the name of the owner.
