HC Deb 13 May 1901 vol 93 c1447
MR. SWIFT MACNEILL

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether Sir Alfred Milner has brought to the notice of His Majesty's Government the resolutions adopted by the Afrikander Congress held at Worcester, Cape Colony, in December last, and presented to Sir Alfred Milner by a deputation appointed for that purpose by the Congress, more especially a resolution strongly condemning the conduct of Sir Alfred Milner, and what action does the Government propose to take with reference to these resolutions.

MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAIN (for Mr. J. CHAMBERLAIN)

I would refer the hon. Member to page 21 and page 22 of Parliamentary Paper Cd. 547. His Majesty's Government do not propose to take any further action.
