I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether he will state-how often since 1st January, 1896, Pitcairn Island has been visited by His Majesty's ships, what was the date of the last visit; and whether he will lay the reports of such visits upon the Table.

The following visits to Pitcairn Island have been made by His Majesty's ships since the 1st January, 1896:—H.M.S. "Wild Swan," February, 1896; H.M.S. "Comus," November, 1897; H.M.S. "Royalist," October, 1898; H.M.S. "Icarus," December, 1900, or January, 1901. Reports respecting visits in 1897 and 1898 have already been presented to Parliament. The report for 1896 can be presented if desired. When any further report is received the question of presenting it will be considered.
