HC Deb 03 May 1901 vol 93 cc594-5
MR. GOULDING (Wiltshire, Devizes)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he can now state if any decision has been come to with regard to the transference of the smaller coaling stations to the Admiralty, and, if this change is carried out, whether it will enable the Government to dispense with the Army staff and administration in the several stations; and also what is the anticipated economy to the War Office.

LORD STANLEY

No, Sir; no decision has yet been come to.
