MR. TULLY (Leitrim, S.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state the number of Royal Irish Constabulary pensioners, and the total amount paid to them in pensions for the financial year ended March, 1876; and the number of pensioners and the total amount of pensions for the financial year ended March, 1900.

For the year 1875–6 the figures were 3,975 pensioners and £146,718 5s. 7d.; for 1899–1900 the number of pensioners was 7,142, and the amount £365,476 15s. 8d.
