HC Deb 02 May 1901 vol 93 c419
MR. MARTIN (Worcestershire, Droitwich)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War if he will take care that the gun carriage, now of historical interest, that carried the body of Her late Majesty through the streets of London, be deposited in the Armoury of the Tower of London, or some other suitable place, where it will be preserved and exhibited to future generations with other objects of like interest.

MR. BRODRICK

His Majesty the King approved of one carriage being deposited in the Tower of London, one in the Castle at Edinburgh, and one in the Royal Hospital, Dublin.
