§ *SIR JOHN COLOMB (Great Yarmouth)I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs 1359 whether he will cause to be presented to this House, as soon as possible, a Copy of the Code of Law issued by the Navy Department and signed by the President of the United States, concerning matters relating to the cutting of submarine cables in war.
§ VISCOUNT CRANBORNEInquiry will be made through His Majesty's Ambassador at Washington as to whether there is any objection to publishing the rules in the United States Naval War Code relating to submarine telegraphic cables. If not, I shall be happy to give the hon. and gallant Member the information he requires.
