§ MR. NICOL (Argyllshire)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether it is the intention of the Government to re-arm the Scotch Volunteer Artillery with the 4.7 guns; and, if so, can he state when this is likely to he carried out.
LORD STANLEYSome Scotch Volunteer batteries will be included amongst the Volunteer batteries to be re-armed with the 4.7 guns. I cannot say at present when this will be carried out.
