HC Deb 14 March 1901 vol 90 cc1592-3
MR. MURNAGHAN

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if he is aware that there, is disappointment at the delay in completing the new schools in Gortin, county Tyrone, will he explain the cause of delay and take steps to have them finished as soon as possible.

MR. WYNDHAM

I am informed that these schools are practically complete and ready for the reception of pupils. The erection of the buildings was carried out by a contractor employed by the manager, and the responsi- bility for any delay in their construction does not attach to the Commissioners of National Education.
