§ MR. YOXALL (Nottingham, W.)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether he can state how many persons, at one time employed in the Government service upon a temporary footing, have since 1884 been placed upon the permanent establishment, and of these in how many eases is the continuous temporary service rendered prior to establishment counted towards pension, as if the entire service had been upon the establishment.
