§ Sir JOHN COLOMBI wish to ask the Civil Lord of the Admiralty a question of which I have given him private notice—whether the figures quoted in The Times to-day as to the amount of the expenditure on new construction, short of the Votes, are figures for the current year, or for some previous year.
§ Mr. PRETYMANThe figures are not in respect to the current financial year. They are figures relating to the year ended March, 1900, and have already been dealt with in the statement of the, First Lord.
