DOOGANI beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, if lie is aware that the residents of the district in county Tyrone, known as Stewartstown to Aughinderg, which comprises eleven townlands, have petitioned the authorities for a daily delivery of letters, and can he state whether the prayer of that petition will be granted.
§ MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAINYes, Sir, the residents applied for a more frequent delivery of letters. Some little time ago the frequency of the service was 399 increased from three to four days a week, Mid the Postmaster General has now sanctioned a delivery every weekday. The improved service will be commenced as soon as possible.
