HC Deb 25 June 1901 vol 95 c1393
DR. THOMPSON (Monaghan, N.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War if it is the intention of the Government to allocate to Ireland a certain number of the proposed new Yeomanry regiments.

*MR. BRODRICK

This question has not yet been decided. If any proposal should be made to make the Irish Yeomanry who served so well in South Africa the nucleus of a permanent corps, it would be carefully considered.
